Lena Mae Posey, 89, of Russellville, died Oct. 26, 2012, at the Regional Medical Center.

She was born in Logan County Nov. 22, 1922, a daughter of the late Virgil Bland and Ida Mae Bell Bland. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Posey was preceded in death by her husband, Harvey Lee Posey and her children, Charles and Joe Lewis and Ricky Posey.

She was a housewife and a member of Mariah Grove Baptist Church.

Funeral services were held Monday, Oct. 29 at 1 p.m. at First Baptist Church in Russellville with Reverend Devin West officiating. Burial followed in the Memorial Gardens. Visitation began Sunday, Oct. 28 from 5 - 7 p.m. at Mariah Grove Baptist Church in Logan County.

She is survived by her sons, Rueben Lewis and James “Goat” (Geraldine) Posey; her daughters, Savannah (Bobby) Long, Birdie Marable, Lillian (Robert) Wynn, Debbie (David) Clayton, Audrey (John) Pirkle and Nannette (John) Denuoden; her sisters, Mary Long and Hattie Gilbert; her daughters-in-law, June Rhea Lewis and Melisa Posey; 21 grandchildren; 30 great-grandchildren; 22 great-great-grandchildren, and seven great-great-great-grandchildren.
