Hope you have had a good week. At least it has been beautiful. Those beautiful colors on the trees.
Which reminds me, Mr. Willis and Mrs. Helen Shores told me about a trip the whole family had taken to the mountains in which there were 134 of them. Their daughters and families and a very dear friend and his family enjoyed several days there. They said the trees here were a lot more colorful than there at that time. I like to hear of families having time to do this. They ate out some and cooked in some. Glad they had such a good time.
Our sympathy to the remaining family of Mr. W.D. Gilliam. His services were this past week.
The woolly worms have been seen this past week again. Bev and George Whitson made a trip to Mayfield, saw 7 jet black ones and only 3 light tan ones, maybe that means worse weather there than here. Think so? Huh, never know till we know.
Sorry Kim Seigers (sis of Elaine) has been in the local hospital this past week with pneumonia. Hurry and get lots better, you are needed in the lab as well as at home.
And Elaine, bless her heart, had to go back to good ole E.R. one night this past week. She is feeling better and back at work.
Enjoying supper one night last week with Martine Brown was Charlotte Oslonian. They had a good visit.
Tuesday was check up time on my blood work at Dr. Kamal Singh’s office and I got a very good report. Judy Jernigan took me and we met Martine Brown and Kathryn Stuart at KFC and had a delicious lunch and a good time visiting.
Barbara Justice and Martine Brown were in Bowling Green one afternoon this past week and visited awhile with Willa Mae Holland. It was a good visit.
Shawn and Shane Stanley of Tennessee has been visiting their grandparents Pat and Rozena Stanley and great-granny Martine Brown and while they were here their family’s home burned in Tennessee, so all the clothes the boys had were what they brought with them. Pat and Rozena are buying more before taking them home.
Sorry, at this time Virginia Hart is in the local hospital with pneumonia, should be able to be home in a few days.
Heard Roger Belcher is back home after several days in Vandy, having surgery and not feeling very well, was in ICU, but is able to be home.
Those in here this week have been Judy Jernigan, Stacey Jernigan, Kim Richardson, Lasley Johnson, Chris Cooper and Dee Dee Brown (lets do it again), Glendon Harris and daughter Sherry Harris of Lousiville.
See ya next time!
