The 34th annual Jesse James 5k run and walk was held on Saturday morning by the Russellville Parks and Recreation. There were 158 participants in the event which is one of the largest they had ever seen.
Cory Ford won the running race with a time of 18:42. Tracy Griggs won the overall women’s running race with a time of 23:24. Billy Bryant won the men’s walking race with a time of 31:19 and Nancy Padfield won the women’s walking race with a time of 35:14.
The Russellville Parks and Recreation held a school challenge, which was won by Auburn Elementary by having the most participants.
