The Logan County Cross Country team held their annual Cougar Run meet on Saturday. The boys varsity team won first place with a score of 49 points.

The girls varsity race was held first and four Logan County girls ran. Jacqueline Belcher lead the girls with a time of 27:45. Addie Baldwin finished with a time of 27:48, Jasmine Martin with a time of 28:39 and Miranda Cole with a time of 29:10.

The boys varsity race was second. Logan County’s Sye Head not only lead the Cougars, but won the race with a time of 16:42. Colton Spencer placed in the top ten with a time of 18:27. Levi Crossley finished with a time of 18:29, Noah Thoams finished 18:36, Kaleb O’Dell finished 18:39, Cory Ford finished with 18:58, Austin Rouse finished with 19:06, Kelly Eicher finished with 20:07 followed by Blake Vanderpool with 20:08, Clint Bake with 21:08 and Matthew Adair with 22:02.

The middle school runners ran a 3k race and the boys won second place. Thomas Lyne finished third with a time of 11:08. Dean Heltsley finished with 11:48, Riley Wharton finished with 12:12, Gage Cousineau finished with 12:49, and Sarah Richey finished the girls 3k with 17:47.

Price Violette, the youngest Cougar, finished the 2000m elementary race with a time of 9:48.

The Cougars will hold their next home meet on October 27th.
