On October 18th the Auburn Community Health Clinic will celebrate its two year anniversary of providing quality care to the citizens of Logan County. The clinic specializes in treating a myriad of common health issues in patients of all ages, and thanks to local support, has increased its staff to three nurse practitioners.
Stacia Washer Staples, ARNP, was named clinic director at the opening in 2010. She has since been joined by James Staples, ARNP, and Trisha Campbell, ARNP. All are trained to treat illnesses such as respiratory, ear or urinary tract infections, strep throat, stomach flu or influenza, as well as non-complex injuries such as lacerations and sprains. The staff is also certified to complete sports or employment physicals.
Because of the recent growth, the clinic now has extended Saturday hours, from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. The clinic is also open Monday through Friday, from 8 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. The office is located in Auburn at the Sugar Maple Shopping Center.
