A 5-month old child died Monday morning on Nashville Street.
The Russellville Police Department responded to the location to investigate an unresponsive patient, according to a report from the RPD.
Upon arrival, the child was not breathing. Logan County EMS responded to the scene and attempted to revive the child, who was later confirmed dead by Logan County Coroner Mary Givens.
Autopsy results are pending.
The Russellville Police Department was assisted by the Russellville Fire Department, the Logan County EMS, the Logan County Coroner and Logan County ECC.
The investigating detective is Sgt. Tim Burnett.
