2 Thess. 2:1-2” Now we beseech you, brethren, by the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, and by our gathering together unto him, That ye be not soon shaken in mind, or be troubled, neither by spirit, nor by word, nor by letter as from us, as that the day of Christ is at hand.”

Paul is admonishing the believer to not let the troubles that precede the coming of Christ to trouble them. I want us to look at some of the signs that Jesus said would happen before he came for the Church.

(1)”For many shall come in my name, saying I am Christ and shall deceive many.” Matt. 24:5

Deception has never been greater than in this day, the Word of God has been watered down by 600 different versions of the Bible, the blood of Christ has been made of non-effect by demonic doctrines of water regeneration, works salvation, repeat a prayer after me-salvation, salvation without repentance, salvation without a change!

(2) “And ye shall hear of wars,and rumours of wars.” Matt. 24:6

The eldest folks living today have lived through WW2, Korea, Vietnam, Iraq, Afghanistan, and that’s just what the U.S.A. has been involved in. The Middle-East is at a boiling point ,the Muslim nations have declared Jihad against Israel and America and World War could break out soon.

(3) “And because iniquity shall abound,the love of many shall wax cold.” Matt 24:10

Jesus warned that before He returned for the Church that sin would explode. We live in a day of Sodomite marriage, Fornication, Adultery, Un-wed mothers, Drug abuse, Drunkenness, Theft, Murder, Divorce, Greed, Gambling, yet if you ask the average person they say America has never been better. We call ourselves a Christian nation, where are all of the Christians on Sunday morning? Church attendance is at an all-time low and so are the morals of this nation. Will you be ready when the Lord descends and the Trump of God sounds? Repent of your sins and believe the Gospel before it’s eternally too late.
