The groom is the son of J. Edward Whittinghill of Cadiz, Ky. and Carol A. Ladwig of Marathon, Fla. He is the grandson of the late Clarence W. and Bessie M. Whittinghill of Lewisburg.
Mr.Whittinghill works for Nigor Gas in Joilet, Ill.
The bride is the daughter of Sandra Lima of Sao Luis, Brazil.
Mrs. Whittinghill has applied as a professor at the University of Chicago.
