Michael Scott “Fathead” Farmer, 37, of Elkton died Tuesday, Feb. 17, 2009 in Muhlenberg County.

He was born in Christian County Feb. 4, 1972, a son of Martha Anne Fleming Farmer-Goodwin and the late Garland Edward (Sonny) Farmer.

Mr. Farmer was a production associate at Martinrea in Hopkinsville, a member of Kelly Baptist Church and a member of the Elk Fork Country Club in Elkton, where he was the reigning club golf champion.

Funeral services will be held Friday, Feb. 20 at 11 a.m. at Latham Funeral Home with Reverend Steven Neel and Reverend Phillip Brumfield officiating. Burial will follow in the Glenwood Cemetery.

In addition to his mother, Mr. Farmer is survived by his wife of 10 years , Michele Lear Farmer of Elkton; his son, Tanner James Farmer of the home; his brothers, Alan Farmer and Jason Farmer, both of Hopkinsville, and his sister Kristy Lamirande of Hopkinsville.
