Charles Henry Glascock, 91, of Clarksville, Tenn., formerly of Trenton died Saturday, Feb. 14, 2009 at Fieldstone Assisted Living in Clarksville, Tenn.

He was born in Trenton Jan. 17, 1918, a son of the late Robert Ossian and Corinne Gower Glascock. In addition to his parents, Mr. Glascock was preceded in death by his daughter, Virginia Lee Glascock and his brother, Jim Gower Glascock.

Mr. Glascock operated Glascock’s Grocery in Trenton for a number of years. He was a member of the Trenton United Methodist Church where he was a member of the church board and church treasurer. He was also a member of the Trenton Civic Club.

Funeral services were held Monday, Feb. 16 at the Trenton United Methodist Church with Reverend Will Campbell, Reverend Larry Busch and Reverend Bill Hartline officiating. Burial followed in the Edgewood Cemetery.

He is survived by his wife of 69 years, Isabelle Adams Glascock; his daughters, Nancy Sneed of Clarksville, Tenn. and Tracy Holman of Adams, Tenn.; three grandchildren, and five great-grandchildren.
