Flander “June” Wilson Jr., 85, of Olmstead, died Friday, July 13, 2012, at the Logan Memorial Hospital in Russellville.
He was born Oct. 8, 1927, a son of the late Flander Wilson Sr. and Bertha Hightower.
Mr. Wilson worked in paint and body work.
Funeral services were held Thursday, July 19 at 11 a.m. at the Young Funeral Home Russellville Chapel with Brother Jim Duke officiating. Burial followed in the Dripping Spring Cemetery. Visitation began Wednesday, July 18 from 5-8 p.m. and Thursday, July 19 from 8 a.m. until time of service at the funeral home
Pallbearers were Kenny Crisp, Kenneth Scott, Shawn Scott, Mitchell Clayton, Josh Howard and Dustin Stratton.
He is survived by his wife, Joyce Wilson of Olmstead; his sons, Flander Ray and Amanda Willson of Olmstead and Mikel Ray Willson of Olmstead; his step-sons, Terry Wayne Fields of Olmstead and Herman Edward Fields, David Dewayne Fields and Joey Dale Fields, all of Bowling Green; his daughter, Evelyn Dotson and husband David and Debbie Faye Jolicoeur and husband Larry, both of Russellville; his brother, Merle Wilson of Russellville; his sisters, Shirley Head of Russellville and Mardell Harper of Dayton, Ohio; 35 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
