Aaron Johnson, a senior at Logan County High School, is the 2012 recipient of a college scholarship from Farm Bureau. Johnson received a $500 Logan County Farm Bureau Scholarship. This award is one of the 234 college scholarships worth a total of $302,450 that the Logan County Farm Bureau, Kentucky Farm Bureau Education Foundation and numerous other individual county Farm Bureaus awarded this year to deserving students from across the Commonwealth.
After graduating, Johnson plans to attend the Campbellsville University to receive a degree in business and pursue a career in agribusiness. He is the son of Michael and Myra Johnson of Auburn, Ky.
The scholarships, offered annually, are awarded to recipients who display the greatest levels of academic excellence, involvement in extracurricular activities, leadership abilities and financial need.
