Greetings from the Antioch Community.

My cousin Omanel Robertson called me Saturday from Florida. She was feeling some better. Had to have some fluid drawed off her lungs, so she could breathe. Remember her in your Prayers. She is a very special cousin to me.

We had a Fish Fry at church Saturday night. Those fresh fish caught out of Antioch lake sure was good. They did a good job frying them and the hush puppies was also delicious. They also had cat fish in case some one didn’t like the fresh fish. Also BBQ and Fried chicken. Had french fries, slaw and all kinds of goodies and a table full of desserts. We enjoyed the meal and the good fellowship.

Visiting Edith Christian was her sister Jess Hammond from Russellville.

A group from the Historical group from Lewisburg came to Antioch Baptist Church on Monday to tour our church and to hear the History about Antioch Baptist Church since we are one of the oldest churches.

Melba Gibbs put together the History of the church and did a good job I might add. She showed a lot of pictures as well as telling the History. the group also toured the church. Our oldest member.

Mae White was there for the program. bro. Joe Simmons drove the church Bus and brought the group. We were glad to have them.

Sheila Epley had surgery on her right shoulder to day in Bowling Green. Our Pastor said us Ladies need to fix some food to help out the family while Sheila can’t use her arm.

Sheila Christian attended the ball game of granddaughter, Reagan on Friday night and on Saturday, granddaughter Gracie.

Jimmy Christian and Christie Chick attended the Father Daughter Dinner Sunday night at Mt. Pleasant Church.

We may not know what the future holds, but we can trust the one who holds the future.
