Are you very close to passing the GED test? This July the Logan County Adult Education is offering for the first time, summer GED classes. “We’re offering an opportunity for those students that are ‘this close’ to earning their GED” stated Cheryl Kelley, Logan County Adult Education Assistant Director. “We’ve never been able to offer this before. This will be a fast paced class offered three days a week for three weeks. We are all excited about being able to offer these classes.”

Classes will be customized to meet the students’ needs. If a student has not been to classes for a while, initial assessments will be given in order to better customize the classes to meet their needs. There will be morning classes and one evening class. The classes will be small and specifically targeted areas that students need to prepare for the tests. A GED exam has been scheduled for July 27 and 28. All classes are free at Logan County Adult Education.

“We also are looking at the students that have passed some parts of the GED and just need to a few parts to finish” commented Pam Morgan, Assistant Director. “We are looking for that student that needs a final ‘oomph’ to finish the testing. We are one of the few adult education centers that offer classes in the summer.”
