After a somewhat severe storm last night, I hope all is well with you and yours. Joetta Dempsey of Bowling Green spent Wednesday with her mother, Mildred Dorris. They took care of shopping for Mildred and both enjoyed the day. I am very sorry that her husband Jackie is not doing too well. He has some back problems that are quite severe. We hope and pray that this problem can soon be better. i have a lot of respect for Jackie. Barry and I enjoyed supper Friday night at the cafe in Kirkmansville. I had not been feeling well and Barry thought it would help me to get out. As usual, the food was very good and everyone is always so nice. Beverly McPherson has not been well lately. She was in the emergency room at Greenville Hospital. then she was confined to her home with a severe cold over the weekend. I talked with her yesterday and she is doing better. Maritza Grant has not been well and had to see the doctor. She is doing better now and we pray that she will continue to get better. There was supposed to be a surprise birthday party Sunday afternoon at the Dunmor Fellowship Hall for Veneida Audas. I think someone let the news get out and it was not a surprise after all. There was quite a few people attending, including most of the family. She was 90 years young and enjoyed the day. Sharon Hall visited with me Monday afternoon and we had a nice visit. I always enjoy spending time with her. She brought me a lap throw that I appreciated very much. the ladies around here meet once a month at the Dunmor Baptist fellowship hall and make lap throws for the shut-ins and others. This is a worthy project and I really did appreciate mine. The Kentucky Wildcats regular season is about over and it is almost tournament time. They have done well and we hope they continue to do so. I am out of paper so by necessity this has to come to a close. May the Lord bless you and keep you in our prayer.
