Hewitt Byrnes Clark, 90, of Russellville, died Sunday Jan. 15, 2012, at Logan Memorial Hospital.

He was born in Logan County Oct. 26, 1921, a son of the late Hewitt and Carrie Schenick Clark.

Mr. Clark was the owner of Clark Welding and was a member of Second Baptist Church in Russellville.

Funeral services were held Thursday, Jan. 19 at 2:30 p.m. in the Young Funeral Home Russellville Chapel with Brother Steve Smith officiating. Burial followed in the Smith Cemetery. Visitation began Wednesday, Jan. 18 after 5 p.m. and Thursday, Jan. 19 after 8 a.m. until time of service at the funeral home.

Pallbearers are Jimmy Graham, Rick Clark, Joe Clark, Zak Keown, Carrie Keown, Clark Thomasson and Chris Thomasson. Honorary Pallbearers are George Kennedy, Jerry Bratcher and Glenn Blick.

He is survived by his daughters, Reita Thomasson of Vevay, Ind. and Byrnece C. Keown of Bowling Green; his brother, Dan Clark of Franklin; his sisters, Jean Cox of Dallas, Texas and Winnie Duncan of Russellville, and four grandchildren.

The family request memorial contributions be made to the Second Baptist Church Building Fund.
