Mrs. Groves was born July 1, 1926 in Muhlenberg County, a daughter of the late Robert Smith and Olga Johnson Smith. She was a homemaker and member of Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church.
In addition to her parents, Mrs. Grove was preceded in death by her husband, Glen Groves; her brother, Ben Smith; and a grandchild, Eric Martin.
Funeral services were Saturday, Nov. 22 at Price Funeral Home, Inc. with burial following in Lewisburg Cemetery.
Mrs. Groves is survived by her daughters, Sandra Martin of Paducah and Glenda Kruetzman of Louisville; her son, Jeff Groves of Lewisburg; her sister, Maxine Bean of Indianapolis, Ind.; five grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
