The Lady Cougars, who recently celebrated the 200th victory in the program's history, lost 2-0 (25-20, 25-8) to the defending Fourth Region champions.
Logan County played Greenwood much closer earlier this year. In the opening match of the season, the Lady Cougars fell 2-1 (25-16, 22-25, 25-13) at Greenwood.
The two losses to Greenwood makes up two of Logan County's four losses this season. The only other losses the Lady Cougars have suffered came in the championship game of the Smyrna (Tenn.) Invitational Tournament against the host team and in the Apollo SummerSlam against Lexington Catholic.
Outside of Greenwood, Logan County has not lost a game against Fourth Region teams. In fact, the Lady Cougars have given up 20 points in a game just twice - once to Todd County Central and once to Bowling Green.
Greenwood is also in the midst of a pretty impressive season. With the win over LCHS, the Lady Gators improved to 20-1 on the year.
Greenwood is perfect against teams from Kentucky. The only loss for the Lady Gators came against Ravenwood, Tenn.
Logan County (25-4) will be back in action tonight at Allen County-Scottsville. The next home match for the Lady Cougars will be Tuesday against Russellville.
