Russellville Mayor Gene Zick said he hopes to see the pond open by the fall. It will be called the “Little Folks Fishing Hole” and the community will be able to utilize it as part of their park experience.
“The pond will be fenced off for safety reasons,” said Zick who is very excited about the project. “We are planning a lot of fun activities with the pond such as a fishing tournament for kids. This will just add to the community's quality of life and we are happy to be supplying something for the kids to do,” said Zick.
