The Garden Club holds its regular meetings on the fourth Monday at 6:30 p.m. each month at the Bibb House, unless special events are scheduled. The club invites everyone who is interested to attend. Rather an avid Gardner or a novice gardener you are welcome.
The next meeting will be held May 19 at the home of Dr. Jon and Alyssa Todd in Quality. The program will be care and dividing a Hosta.
The May gardening tip is plant marigolds at the end of vegetable rows to help deter pests. Use shaded areas in the garden to plant beets, parsnips, leeks, cabbage, turnips and lettuce.
