Mr. Woodrow was born March 6, 1925 in Todd County the son of the late Rev. Marshall and Gillie Ann Dukes Williams. He worked for Davis Cabinet Co. in Nashville and was retired from the Metro School Board in Nashville. Mr. Woodrow was a member ofe the Pea Ridge Full Gospel Church and had been attending the Resting Place Church in Nashville TN. He was preceded in death by his wife Elsie Gamble Williams in 2007.
Services were Sunday Octber 23, 2011 at Latham Funeral Home with Rev. Kent Christmas, Rev Charles WIlliams and Rev. Eddie Fowler officiating. Burial followed in the Pea Ridge Cemetery. Visitation was from 2 to 5 p.m. Saturday at Latham Funeral Home.
Survivors include his daughters, Shelia W. Allen and Cheryl W. Elliott both of Hendersonville; one brother, Joe Williams of Elkton; one sister, Eva Harrison of Elkton; five grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.
