Skills to be taught are passing/receiving, blocking, proper stance, team work, ball handling, individual/team defense, form tackling, individual/team offense and running.
This is a non-contact camp. Blocking and tackling will be done on sleds and foam practice dummies.
Plans are to accept the first 75 campers, says Coach Lee Proctor.
The LCHS and junior high football coaching staffs as well as many of the Cougars varsity players will be instructors.
Early registration fee is $30 by May 19 and $35 after that.
Lunch will be provided each day as part of the fee. Campers will get individualized instructions and skills checklist, a camp tee shirt and participation awards.
