Dolly Porter, 80, of Russellville and formerly of Lewisburg, died Tuesday, Dec. 20, 2005 at the Auburn Nursing Center. Funeral services were Wednesday, Dec. 21 at Price Funeral Home Inc. with Reverend Ronnie Forrest officiating. Burial followed in Quality Baptist Church Cemetery in Butler County.

Mrs. Porter was born April 18, 1925, daughter of the late William Ernest Taylor and the late Josephine Elder Taylor. She was also preceded in death by her husband, R.B. ‘Bunny' Porter.

Mrs. Porter worked as a nurse at Dr. Martin's and Dr. Mathis' offices. She was a member of Quality Baptist Church.

Surviving are her daughters, Donna Jo Greer and Nancy Price, both of Russellville; her son, Richard Porter, of Scottsville; and four grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
