Michael Ellis Montgomery, 47, of Russellville, died Saturday, Dec. 3, 2005 at the Logan Memorial Hospital. Funeral services were Wednesday, Dec. 7 at Young Funeral Home, Russellville Chapel with Brother Brent Crabtree, Brother Randy Richardson, and Thomas Bouldin officiating. Burial followed in Maple Grove Cemetery.

Mr. Montgomery was born in Logan County on June 25, 1958, son of James Ellis Montgomery and Sarah Kathryn Richardson Montgomery, who survive. He was a planner at Emerson Electric and a member of the First Christian Church in Russellville.

Surviving Mr. Montgomery, along with his parents, are his sons, J.P. Montgomery, Matthew Montgomery, and Lucas Montgomery, all of Russellville.

Pallbearers for the services were Dudley Bouldin II, Thomas Bouldin, Tracy Jackson, Greg Kerstiens, Mitchell Duncan, Monty Woosley, Ed Higgins, and Jeff Moore.
