Phillips made contact with a blue 1993 Chrysler 5th Avenue driven by Oval Worley, 63, of Russellville. Worley reportedly became disorderly and was told he was under arrest, at which time Worley drove off the scene.
Worley almost struck several vehicles and disregarded several stop signs before finally officers were able to get the vehicle to stop at 1043 Brookhaven Avenue. Worley was lodged in the Logan County Detention Center and charged with Resisting Arrest, Fleeing and Evading in the first degree, Wanton Endangerment in the first degree, Disorderly Conduct, Reckless Driving, Disregarding a Stop Sign, Disregarding a Traffic Control Device, and Possession of an Open Alcohol Beverage Container.
