Curtis and Virginia Carmean were wed in Elkton, Md. on Sept. 25, 1965. They have four daughters; Karen Eidel of Franklin, Ky., Katherine Tweedy and Jennifer Tweedy, both of Auburn, and Sara Tweedy of Kerhonkson, N.Y.
They have four grandchildren, Hillary Tweedy, Curtis Goodrum, Kristian Lyons, and Christopher Eidel.
The couple will celebrate with their families at their home in Auburn on Sept. 25.
