Ruth Irene Bailey, 91, of Russellville, died Wednesday, March 2, 2005 at Logan Memorial Hospital. Funeral services will be today at 1 p.m. with visitation until the time of the service at Sanders Funeral Home in Russellville. The Reverends Melvin Belt and Scott Marshall will officiate, with burial to follow in the Chandlers Chapel Cemetery.

Mrs. Bailey was born in Logan County, the daughter of the late Everett Costellow and the late Glendola Chandler Costellow. She was a homemaker and member of United Pentecostal Church.

Preceding Mrs. Bailey in death were her parents; her husband, John Weldon Bailey; her daugher, Elizabeth Glen Bailey; her sister, Beatrice Lack; and her brothers, Thurston and George Costellow.

Surviving Mrs. Bailey are her daughter, Judy (Bailey) Belt of Russellville; her son, Gary Bailey of Russellville; her sisters, Aliene Stevenson of Russellville, Eunice Reed of Auburn, Mazelle Collins of Russellville, and Vonelle Wharry of Flint, Mich.; her brother, Wayburn Costellow of Russellville; her grandson, Chip Belt of Chattanooga, Tenn.; her granddaughter, Kristy Lacy of Adairville; and four great-grandchildren.
