Kemp received her bachelor's degree in animal science in 1995 and attended Auburn College of Veterinary Medicine, earning her DVM in 1999.
She is a former employee of the Logan County Animal Clinic in Russellville and has conducted various seminars for local 4-H students on goat herd health and maintenance.
Kemp, who lives in Olmstead with husband Daniel, has been a member of the Alumni Association since graduation and contributes to the Ag Phone-a-Thon.
