Mayme Logsdon Williams, 87, of Bowling Green, died Jan. 30, 2005 at the Medical Center in Bowling Green.

She was born in Madison County, a daughter of the late Merrill Logsdon and Dora Bratcher Logsdon. She was preceded in death by her husband, John P. Williams, and several brothers and sisters.

Mrs. Williams was a homemaker and a member of State Street United Methodist Church.

Funeral services were held Feb. 1 at Bowling Green Gardens.

Mrs. Williams is survived by her daughter and her special friend, Gail Dycus and Frank T. Wheeler of Bowling Green; her sister and brother-in-law, Vena and Ralph Wylie of Berea; and several nieces and nephews.

Memorial contributions may be made to State Street Methodist Church at 1101 State Street in Bowling Green or to the Paint Lick Methodist Church in Paint Lick, 40461.

J.C. Kirby & Son Lovers Lane Chapel was in charge of arrangements.
