Robert Allen Hyams, 83, of Russellville died Jan. 26, 2005 at Logan Memorial Hospital. Funeral services are Jan. 28 at 2 p.m. in the Young Funeral Home, Russellville Chapel, with the Brother Sam Willis and Brother Travis Bryan officiating. Burial will follow in the Maple Grove Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Tommy Bogle, Gerald Fulkerson, Danny Head, Odell Hinton, Tracy Sprouse, and Timmy White. Honorary pallbearers will be Grady Belcher, Richie Belcher, David Johnson, Bud Lawson, David Stanley, and Mike White.

Mr. Hyams was born in Todd County on July 25, 1921, son of the late Robert Lafette Hyams and Nell Primm Hyams. He was a farmer and a member of the Epley Methodist Church.

Mr. Hyams was preceded in death by his son, Donald Ray Hyams, and his daughter, Shirley Hyams.

Surviving Mr. Hyams are his wife, Lucy Hyams; his brother, Ray Hyams of Trenton; three grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren.
