Men died so we can vote. So you tell me how that anyone that chooses not to vote is not showing disrespect to those men. I'm confused by people who don't vote, yet get to enjoy all the other freedoms these men provided us. I'm thankful I get a choice.

I'm a proud member of the Logan County Democratic Executive Committee and hope to be proud of voter turnout in November. What would it say about Logan County if we had the largest turnout in the state?

I think, a lot. It would be nice to have positive things being said and reported about our county. Not only would a large voter turnout show our intelligence, but also how respectful we are of the fact that we have choice.

If you don't vote because you think your one vote doesn't count, you're wrong. If you don't vote because you don't know what the candidates stand for, educate yourself. Whatever your excuse is for not voting, know that it's an excuse, not a reason! I'd love my generation to have a great turnout this November.

But I want it clear that I want all people to be respectful-- vote! Old or young, Democrat or Republican, make choice and be proud that you have a choice to make.
