Rebecca Jane Hite, 63, of Adairville, died Wednesday, March 17, 2004.

She was born in Adairville on Aug. 14, 1940 to the late Houston Wallace and Annie Lucille Gibbs Hite.

Mrs. Hite was a homemaker. She was preceded in death by her brother, Robert Hite, and her sister, Elizabeth Ann Herndon.

Funeral services were held Thursday, March 18 in the chapel of the Austin and Bell Funeral Home in Adairville with Rev. Tommy Marsh officiating. Burial followed in Greenwood Cemetery.

She is survived by her sister, Laura Hunter of Adairville, her nieces, Tomilynn Morris of Cedar Hill, Tenn., Jana Hardin of Russellville, April Edmonds of Crossville, Tenn., her nephews, Jamie Herndon of Cedar Hill, Tenn., and Thomas "J.R." Hunter Jr. of Franklin; six great nieces and nephews.

Austin and Bell Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.
