Kristopher Scott Van Sickle has been chosen as the Outstanding Young University College of Agriculture Alumnus from the Mammoth Cave area

Scott graduated from the University of Kentucky with a degree in Plant and Soil Science and is married to Meg Van Sickle.

Van Sickle is currently working as director of

research at Wheat Tech, Inc. He works on in-house and contract research in small grains in Kentucky, Missouri, Illinois, Indiana and Tennessee.

Van Sickle has participated in research trials with Dr. Lloyd Murdock, Dr. David Van Sanford and Dr. Samuel McNeil.

Scott has served has a member and supporter of National Public Radio and the Nature Conservancy. He has strongly supported Logan County Extension through serving on

the 4-H and Extension councils and attending extension meetings and field days.

He has also been an Ag speaker at the Youth Leadership Logan.
