James Earl 'Pops' Wilson, 66, of Elkton, formerly of Tucson, Ariz., died Friday, Dec. 12, 2003 at his residence in Elkton.

He was born in Todd County on Nov. 20, 1937, the son of the late Robert Earl and Tiny Wilson.

Mr. Wilson operated dump trucks for construction in the Tucson area. He was a member of the Tucson Tabernacle.

Funeral services will be today at Latham Funeral Home with Bro. Pearry Green and Bro. Thomas Byler officiating. Burial will follow in the Stokes Chapel Cemetery.

He is survived by his wife, Martha Edwards Wilson of Elkton; his son, Richard Earl Wilson of Tucson; his daughter, Penny Jo Fox of Tucson; his three brothers, Layton Wilson of Tucson, Oscar Wilson of Tipton, Iowa, and Steven Wilson of Armstrong, British Columbia; his five sisters, Bess Rager of Tucson, Rachel Jones of Cleveland, Ohio, Nancy Laster, Lillian Case and Mildred Wilson, all of Elkton; his seven grandchildren and one great-granddaughter.
