Billy Turner, 71, of Lewisburg, died Friday, Oct. 31, 2003 at his residence.

He was born in Simpson County on Jan. 17, 1932, a son of the late Lee Edward and Jenny Alice (Ford) Turner.

Mr. Turner was a pipeline inspector for the Operators Union. He was a member of Greenridge C.P. Church.

Funeral services were held Saturday, Nov. 2 in Price Funeral Home with Rev. Glendel Harper and Rev. Joe Vaught. Burial followed in the Greenridge C.P. Church Cemetery.

He is survived by his wife, Rebecca (Tooley) Turner of Lewisburg; his daughters, Pamela Brake and Connie Gross, both of Portland, Tenn., Dottie Brown of Lewisburg, Sherry Moody of Elkton, Cathy Perry of Scottsville, and Teana Large of Russellville; his brothers, John Lewis Turner of Madisonville and James Henry Turner of Franklin; 19 grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren.
