Gov. Paul Patton has announced two projects in the Barren River Area Developmental District that will be financed with Fiscal Year 2003 Area Development Funds (ADF).

Logan County will get $5,625 for the purchase of a color plotter and multimedia projector for use by the Logan County Information System Corporation, Inc.

Hart County will receive $1,406 for the reimbursement of computer equipment for use by county government.

Commissioner Jody Lassiter of the Department for Local Government approved the grants upon the recommendation of the Barren River Area Development District.

The ADF finances community and industrial development projects in each of Kentucky's 15 area development districts (ADD).

Project applications are generated from communities and recommended by each ADD's board of directors, with funding approval by the commissioner of the Department for Local Government.
