He died March 19, 2003 in Evansville, Ind. He was a machine operator for International Harvester.
A native of Drakesboro, he was born March 6, 1934, the son of the late Romey and Ruby Sieber Evitts.
He is survived by his wife, Isadora Evitts, Dunmor; a daughter, Debbie Dukes, Dunmor; two sons, Larry Evitts, Gearney, Ill., and Rich Evitts, Waukegan, Ill.; and two sisters, Violet Landrum, Chicago, Ill., and Muriel Smith, Penrod.
