She was born July 12, 1920 in Logan County, a daughter of the late Isriah and Rosie Skipworth Joines.
Mrs. Lear was a homemaker and a member of Trinity Pentecostal Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Pete Lear.
Graveside services were held today at McPherson Cemetery, Todd County with Rev. Autry Moore and Rev. Vernon Joines officiating.
Roger Gant, Charles Jones, James Lear and Sammy Mayes served as pallbearers.
She is survived by a nephew, Vernon Joines of Smiths Grove; two nieces, Loretta Brewer of Belton and Sue Jenkins of Lewisburg; sisters-in-law, Missie Joines and Nora Joines, both of Lewisburg.
