I will remember the events of this day

For the time that will come

I shall never be able to forget

No matter how hard I try

The questions I ask about these recent events

Are why did this happen, what did we do

The answers I receive from my questions are

We don’t know why and we did nothing to them.

No matter how hard we try to cry

We’ll never forget these recent events

now as our young men prepare to rage war

What is over nothing but silly belief.

Now more people will die and more will cry

But none of them shall be forgotten

In our memories they now are

In their remembrance we need to stand strong.
