Beginning August 1, 2011 producers will call West Kentucky Waste Management LLC for dead animal pickup. There is a $40 fee per head with a maximum of $120 per pickup for producers. The Logan County Extension Office will bill producers for the service and the producer will submit payment of the Extension Office who will submit payment to the county fiscal court monthly.
This is a tremendous step forward in providing a clean, healthy environment and a service for all livestock producers. To report animal pickup beginning August 1st, call 270-498-5880.
