David Bryan, 77, of Russellville, died Thursday, June 30, 2011 at his home.

He was born in Logan County Nov. 7, 1933, a son of the late Johnny and Lillian Traughber Bryan. In addition to his parents, Mr. Bryan was preceded in death by his wife, JoNell Sanford Bryan; his grandson, Shannon Dewayne Atkinson; his brother, Bernard Bryan, and his sister, Virginia Rosser.

Mr. Bryan was a truck driver and a member of the O’Roark United Methodist Church.

Funeral services were held Saturday, July 2 at O’Roark United Methodist Church with Reverend Travis Bryan and Tim Harris officiating. Burial followed in the O’Roark Church Cemetery.

He is survived by his sons, Earnest Owen Bryan of Russellville and Travis Owen Bryan and wife Saundra of Lewisburg; his granddaughters, Amy Joann Davis and husband Jon and Casey Michelle Lee Bryan, both of Madison, Tenn. and Shana Leann Atkinson and Chelcie Marie Atkinson, both of Bowling Green; his grandsons, Earnest Trey Bryan of Trenton and Aaron Lee Atkinson of Bowling Green, and his great-grandsons, Jon Branden Davis, Jacob Wade Davis and Cooper Owen Gillingham.
