The Russellville Police Department arrested Corey Farmer, 25 of Russellville, on Tuesday on charges of burglary and criminal mischief.

On Tuesday, both the RPD and Logan County Sheriff’s Department responded to a bank alarm at BB&T bank. When officers arrived, they found that someone had broken in to the build and tried to get into the safe.

While officers were still bust at that crime scene, a call came in from the Cattle Pen restaurant on Armory Drive, reporting that someone had “smashed in the window and took a truck.”

After investigating both incidents, the department found that Farmer had committed both crimes. He was arrested and lodged in the Logan County Detention Center.
