The Logan County Farm Bureau Federation held a media Appreciation Event as a part of it's February Board of Directors Meeting. They honored O.J Stapleton, editor of News Democrat & Leader and Mack Mallory, radio personality of WRUS radio for what they do to promote Agriculture and the Farm Sector in general. Farmers, businesses and the community as a whole benefit greatly from the print media and radio for timely information and news our local media provides. John Alcott, Farm Bureau Public Information Chairman, gave both a small gift of appreciation as thanks for what they do to keep the community informed on these issues. Mr. Stapleton was unable to attend the meeting and was given his gift at a later date.
