Warren David “Chuck” Greer, 71, of Elkton, died Friday, Feb. 4, 2011 at his residence.

He was born in Elkton Nov. 4, 1939, a son of the late Willard Greer and the late Annie D. Lanier Trickey.

Mr. Greer was a retired appliance repairman and a United States Army veteran. he was a member of the Elkton Christian Church.

Funeral services were held Friday, Feb. 4 at Latham Funeral Home with reverend Tommy Wilhite and Reverend Mark Keith officiating. Burial followed in the Gant Cemetery.

He is survived by his wife, Elva Key Greer of Elkton; his step-mother, Margie Greer of Elkton; his daughter, Michelle Greer Rogers of Elkton; his step-sons, David White of Austin, Texas and Robbie White of Hawkins, Texas; his half-brother, Wayne Greer of Maine; his half-sisters, Linda McLean of Washington and Janice Arnold of Elkton, and his step-grandchildren, Nathan White, Matthew White, Samuel White, Reagan White and Marshall White.
