The Russellville High School boys’ and girls’ basketball teams each advanced in the Fourth Region All “A” Classic on Monday with wins over visiting Clinton County.

The Panthers won 72-53 to up their record to 13-6 overall.

They were scheduled to take on host Glasgow on Thursday night in the semifinals. With a victory, Russellville will play either Metcalfe County or Monroe County tonight in Glasgow.

The Lady Panthers won 70-47 over Clinton County on Monday, but fell to host Glasgow 64-49 in the semifinals on Wednesday night.

Russellville is currently 7-12 on the year and plays at Caldwell County on Tuesday.

The Logan County boys’ team picked up a victory over Allen County-Scottsville at home on Tuesday.

Senior Troy Graham led the Cougars in scoring with 24 points on 8-of-11 shooting. Junior Araton Martin scored 16 and Twin Lancaster added 15. Torin Graham scored 11 points and Drake Downey added nine.

Lancaster had a double-double as he also pulled down a team-high 12 rebounds. Downey added six rebounds.

Logan County is now 13-4 overall. The Cougars play at Franklin-Simpson tonight in a District 13 match.

The Lady Cougars also pulled out a 74-56 win over Allen County-Scottsville on Tuesday.

LCHS is now 6-9 on the year and plays tonight at Franklin-Simpson.
