Logan teams win district game

Friday night was a good night at Logan County High School. The Todd County Rebels were in town for a boys/girls district doubleheader. Both Logan County teams won. The girls picked up their first win on the season by beating the Lady Rebels 72-60. The boys won their first district game of the year and improved to (4-5) overall after the win over Todd County and a Saturday win over South Warren.

Kelby Epley is leading the Cougars in points scored this season. Third Bell has hit the most free throws so far in the ‘16-‘17 season.

Jessica Hines is the scoring leader for the Lady Cougars as the season rolls on. Hines has over 50 rebounds on the year.

The Lady Cougars will be at LaRue County this week for the R.E. Williams Holiday Classic.

The Cougars will be off until January 3rd when they will take on Monroe County at home.
