The Russellville Panther basketball team got back to work on Tuesday night against Warren East. The Raiders kept the score close up until halftime, but the Panthers caught fire the second half to send East back to Bowling Green with a 71-53 loss to start the season.

Pedro Bradshaw finished the game with 18 points. He also had 14 rebounds and eight assists. Jacob Naylor sank three long shots and added ten more points to total 19 on the evening.

Shon Kees went 7 for 8 from the field, scoring 14. Senior Jaylyn McMurry grabbed eight rebounds and scored 11 points.

The Panthers finished (18-8) for the ‘15-‘16 season. They look to improve on those numbers this year with six Seniors on the team. The Todd County Central Rebels come to Russellville on Friday for a district boys and girls double header.
