The County middle schools battled it out on the volleyball court this week for the title of middle school volleyball champion. On Tuesday night, the double elimination tournament left but one school standing. After winning six games in a row, The Auburn Tigers are the 2016 middle school champions.

The Lady Tigers faced the Olmstead Lady Rams for the final match. Auburn had to defeat the Lady Rams twice in order to win the crown since Olmstead had not been previously beaten in the tournament. The Logan County High School Auxiliary gym was filled with supporters of all of the teams from Logan County. The crowd opened the Championship match by standing and collectively singing the National Anthem.

Auburn won the last two matches 2-0.
