Russellville ready for Friday night football

Football is back for the season at Rhea Stadium in Russellville. The Panthers hosted the 2A Glasgow Scotties during a preseason scrimmage on Thursday.

Coach John Myers will lead his 1A squad into action Friday night in Russellville against the Trigg County Wildcats to kickoff the 2016 season. The regular season will conclude on October 28th against Franklin-Simpson at Rhea Stadium.

In 2015, the Panthers posted a record of 11-3. They went undefeated in the district.
