The Logan County High School softball team has now won four games in a row after taking both games of a doubleheader over the weekend at Metcalfe County.

The Lady Cougars played twice against the Lady Hornets on Saturday, winning the first game 4-0 and the second game 5-1. Prior to those games, LCHS had picked up back-to-back wins over Russellville and Warren Central.

Overall the Lady Cougars now have a 10-8 record after starting the season out 2-5. Logan County was scheduled to play at Allen County-Scottsville on Monday night and will be back in action Tuesday at home against Butler County.

The Russellville High School softball team suffered a 3-2 loss to Hart County on Saturday.

The loss drops the Lady Panthers overall record to 8-15 on the year.

Russellville will be back in action Tuesday at home in a district 13 match against Todd County Central. Earlier this year, the Lady Rebels beat Russellville 11-0.
